About this expedition

The Cora Coralina Trail is a long-distance, self-guided route that connects various towns and villages in the state of Goiás, reviving old sections of the historic "Gold Road" (Estrada do Ouro). Along the way—which spans 8 towns and 8 villages—hikers encounter the landscapes of the Cerrado biome, as well as poetry, local cuisine, culture, history, and religious traditions.

With "Pés no Cerrado," your journey becomes even more comfortable and worry-free. The itinerary includes a support vehicle and luggage transport, allowing you to travel light—unburdened by a heavy backpack—and fully enjoy every moment of the experience.

Throughout the trek, you will also be provided with water and fruit, ensuring you have the support and energy needed to keep walking and to more deeply experience the beauty and history of the Cora Coralina Trail.

This route is led by the Pés no Cerrado team, with a focus on safety, the group's pace and responsible experiences in nature.
